Bio

I was born in a small town on the edge of the Lake District. Left. Went to the University of St Andrews. Left. Lived in a small town on the edge of the Lake District. Left. Lived in St Andrews for a while. Left. Lived in a small town on the edge of the Lake District. Left. Went to the University of Wales at Aberystwyth. Left. Now living in a small town on the edge of the Lake District. Hmmm, there appears to be a pattern developing here.

While I was at St Andrews, besides getting a degree and developing a potentially life-threatening addiction to heroin*, I was - among many other things besides - the Students' Association Welfare Officer. The first ever! And not quite the last ever. Success! Since then I have been unable to shake off one of the most insidious side effects of being deeply involved in the Students' Association. That is, an inability to renounce hackery. Of course, things were done better in my day. People should listen. They don't though. Come to think of it, they didn't really listen then either.

*That's not strictly true. It was opium.
